Clemente Olvera Hidrogo, 76, of Eakly, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on May 16, 1948, in Mexico to Amador Olvera Monreal and Augustina Hidrogo Medina. Clemente moved to the United States in 1972 and became a resident in 1986. He worked as a ranch hand for Danny Sharry and Earl Kardokus. A hardworking man, he enjoyed planting vegetables, building things, and watching baseball, his favorite sport. He was always willing to lend a hand to his family and was known for his encouraging words, often saying, “Keep moving forward” Puro Pa delante and “Should have doesn’t exist El Ubiera No Existe.” He was united in marriage to Maria Adame on November 16, 1966, in Durango, Mexico. Clemente will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Clemente is survived by his children: Enriqueta Olvera De Astrain of Fort Payne, Alabama; Gloria Reyes of Eakly, OK, Katy Olvera of North Carolina; and Ezequiel Olvera 2nd of Newalla, Oklahoma. 17 grandchildren; Rolando, Alonso, Jasmin, Paloma, Priscila, Brayan, Ulissel, Dalila, Kathy, Reyna, Angel, Jayzleen, Brisa, Keyla, Ezequiel, Jr., Hayden and Valentina, 10 great-grandchild; Jayden, Christian Rolando, Alonso, Alaia, Jaxon, Ian Theodore, Zoe, Olivia, Geovana, and Zaiden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Maria Olvera, three sons—Clemente Olvera Jr., Amador Olvera, and Ezekiel Olvera 1st as well as his brothers and sisters.
Viewing will be Thursday and Friday at Clemente’s home in Eakly
Services will be Saturday, 11:00 am, March 8, 2025 at Clemente’s home in Eakly, OK with burial to follow in the Eakly Cemetery, Eakly, OK services entrusted to the Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, OK
Clemente Olvera Hidrogo, de 76 años, de Eakly, falleció el martes 4 de marzo de 2025 en el Hospital Saint Anthony en Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Nació el 16 de mayo de 1948 en México, hijo de Amador Olvera Monreal y Agustina Hidrogo Medina. Clemente se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 1972 y se convirtió en residente en 1986. Trabajó como peón de rancho para Danny Sharry y Earl Kardokus. Hombre trabajador, le gustaba plantar verduras, construir cosas y ver béisbol, su deporte favorito. Siempre estaba dispuesto a echar una mano a su familia y era conocido por sus palabras de aliento, a menudo decía: “Sigue adelante”, Puro Pa delante y “Debería haber no existe, El Ubiera No Existe”. Se unió en matrimonio con María Adame el 16 de noviembre de 1966 en Durango, México. Clemente será profundamente extrañado por su familia, amigos y todos los que lo conocieron.
A Clemente le sobreviven sus hijos: Enriqueta Olvera De Astrain de Fort Payne, Alabama; Gloria Reyes de Eakly, OK, Katy Olvera de Carolina del Norte; y Ezequiel Olver Olvera 2º de Newalla, Oklahoma. 17 nietos; Rolando, Alonso, Jasmin, Paloma, Priscila, Brayan, Ulissel, Dalila, Kathy, Reyna, Angel, Jayzleen, Brisa, Keyla, Ezequiel, Jr., Hayden y Valentina, 10 bisnietos; Jayden, Christian Rolando, Alonso, Alaia, Jaxon, Ian Theodore, Zoe, Olivia, Geovana y Zaiden. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, su esposa María Olvera, sus tres hijos: Clemente Olvera Jr., Amador Olvera y Ezequiel Olvera 1º, así como sus hermanos y hermanas. El velatorio será el jueves y el viernes en la casa de Clemente en Eakly Los servicios serán el sábado 8 de marzo de 2025 a las 11:00 a.m. en la casa de Clemente en Eakly, OK, y el entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Eakly, Eakly, OK Servicios confiados a la Funeraria Turner, Hinton, OK
